Protecting Virginia Key takes action. The Alliance has found that in order to present a convincing case before the city, county or state we need expert documentation and advice. This may be legal, scientific or statistic in nature as future challenges present themselves.
February, 2018: The Virginia Key Alliance hired a law firm to inform the City about viable alternatives to a massive mooring field, solutions that will help rid the basin of illegal anchoring and derelict vessels and provide a safe haven for passive water sports for years to come. Your donations will help pay for this important legal representation before the City and , if necessary, the County and State. Even the smallest amount is very much appreciated!
